The Public Prosecution Service (OM) of the Netherlands has demanded 20 and 22-year prison sentences against alleged executors of the liquidation of Iranian refugee Mohammad Reza Kolahi Samadi. The man lived in the Netherlands under the alias Ali Motamed.

Samadi is held responsible by Iran for a deadly attack in 1981 in that country resulting in 73 deaths. The man was sentenced to death in absentia. In the early 1990s, Samadi applied for asylum in the Netherlands and lived happily ever after in the Netherlands. The Dutch government protected the terrorists for years until he was shot dead. https://www.nu.nl/binnenland/5815872/om-eist-tot-22-jaar-cel-voor-moord-vermeende-iraanse-aanslagpleger-in-almere.html

The two suspects Anouar A. (29) and Moreo M. (36) denied having anything to do with the murder earlier this week. Anouar stated that it was a mistake that he was the one who was involved in the liquidation. Moreo invoked his right to remain silent.

However, the OM says it has sufficient evidence that the two men shot Samadi on December 15 in the vicinity of his home in Almere. The man was a technician and he was on his way to work on that fatal Tuesday morning.

On 28 June 1981, a powerful bomb went off at the headquarters of the Iran Islamic Republic Party (IRP) in Tehran, while a meeting of party leaders was in progress. Seventy-three leading officials of the Islamic Republic were killed, including Chief Justice Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti (who was the second-most powerful figure in the revolution after Ayatollah Khomeini at the time). The Islamic Republic of Iran first blamed SAVAK and the Iraqi government. Two days later, Ruhollah Khomeini accused the People’s Mujahedin of Iran. A few years later, a Kermanshah tribunal executed four “Iraqi agents” for the incident. Another tribunal in Tehran executed Mehdi Tafari for the same incident. In 1985, the head of military intelligence informed the press that this had been the work of royalist army officers. Iran’s security forces blamed the United States  and “internal mercenaries.

People’s Mujahedin of Iran

(MEK) is an Iranian political–militantorganization based on Islamic and Socialist ideology and advocates overthrowing the Islamic Republic of Iran leadership and installing its own government. It was the “first Iranian organization to develop systematically a revolutionary interpretation of Islam – an interpretation that deferred sharply from both the old conservative Islam of the traditional clergy and the new version formulated in the 1970s by Ayatollah Khomeini and his government. The MEK is considered the Islamic Republic of Iran’s biggest and most active political opposition group.

MEK targeted key Iranian official figures, with the bombing of the Prime Minister’s office, attacking low ranking civil servants and members of the Revolutionary Guards, along with ordinary citizens who supported the new government. According to infoplease.com, more than 16,000 Iranian people have been killed by the MEK since 1979. According to the MEK, over 100,000 of its members have been killed and 150,000 imprisoned by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Alleged Netherlands charity

According to four anonymous Iranians claiming to be ex-MEK members, the MEK operated a charity in the Netherlands called “Society for Solidarity with the Iranian People” (Dutch: Stichting Solidariteit met Iraanse Mensen) SIM. In 2003, General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) claimed that SIM was fundraising for the MEK, a claim that the organization denied.

The MEK can be considered a socialist revolutionary party, their members were spread across Europe and currently holding their headoffice in Albania. You can compare, if you like, them with “der Rote Armee Fraction”, who operated in the seventies and eighties of the last centrury throughout Germany and “Brigade Rosso” in Italy.

Currently the head of the MEK is: Maryam Rajavi she is the leader and trying to overthrow the Iranian government. Rajavi is also the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), since 1993. A complicated story, she is a decendend from the Qajar Dynasty – Turkish origin. Her husband: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massoud_Rajavi

In 2018, it was revealed that Mohammad Reza Kolahi Samadi was living under false identity of Ali Motamed in the Netherlands as refugee and was murdered in December 2015.

According to the Dutch newspaper ” Parool”, two men suspecting of killing Kolahi were identified as 28-year-old Anouar A.B. and 35-year-old Moreo M, “Both suspects have a criminal record and come from the same Bijlmer neighborhood of Amsterdam.” Several sources accused the Iranian government of being behind the assassination on the other hand Iran is accusing the Dutch governemnt, Mossad and foreign intervention.

Conclusion

It’s not clear who murdered him, the two on trial could have been involved in Drugs, crime, the narco state of the Netherlands is in full swing. But killed by order of the Republic of Iran, is to my opion, not a complete realistic story.
